Bury FC
Our School has been chosen to be ‘School of the Day’ for Saturday 29th November Bury v Dagenham & Redbridge.

Remembrance Day
On Tuesday 11th November Mr Gerrard in assembly explained what this day means to us all. At 11 am Mr Gerrard sounded the bell and the whole school fell silent for 2 minutes. Not a sound could be heard in the whole school! A very touching moment!

Remember, Remember the 5th of November
Infant children celebrated this day in style! Mr Gerrard first explained in assembly why we celebrate this day and also explained the firework code to the children. Then we went outside and were treated to a Firework Display with Mrs Hicks and Mr Matheson as our firework lighters. While we watched the display we tucked in to black peas, hot potatoes and Parkin!
Our children had a fantastic time celebrating the 5th November!

Harvest Assembly

At our Harvest Assembly our children and staff donated gifts of tinned and packet food, toiletries and certain household and baby items for the Porch Boxes Charity. Porch Boxes works to support vulnerable people with crisis packs of food and other essentials. It is a locally based charity, working in Bury and Rochdale. Thank you to all for your generous donations.
