On 11th March, the School Hall was converted into an art gallery for the afternoon. Every child in School had produced an original piece of art in the style of a famous artist, and these mini-masterpieces had been framed, catalogued and hung in the gallery. Parents were invited to attend the exhibition, browse the art work and, should they wish to do so, purchase their childβs work of art. The aim of the event was to develop the childrenβs understanding of the value of art in our lives whilst raising funds for School.Β
Update...
The total commission earned by school was Β£246.
Thank you to everyone who purchased their child's art.

Bake Off!
Thirty six cakes baked by children or parents were entered into the competition which was judged by members of the School Council. The School Council had a very enjoyable time sampling every cake and judging each one on its flavour and appearance . A tough decision but we have our 4 winners,
The winning cake won a voucher for 'The Farmer's Arms'.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the bake off and to everyone who purchased a slice of the delicious entries.
