Creating responsible pupils who take responsibility for their own learning is our overall ambition. We believe that pupils who have an intrinsic sense of responsibility for their own learning will stand the greatest chances of succeeding in any area of their life. At Christchurch, we give our pupils many opportunities to become responsible young people:
Our Pupil Leadership team head many of our clubs
and represent our 'Pupil Voice'.
They are
given responsibilities including welcoming
visitors in school, school tours for new families
and leading whole school assemblies.
Our elected school council have weekly meetings, ensuring that pupils are given opportunities to make more of an impact on their school.
Year 6 Pupils enjoy spending time with our Reception
pupils as part of the seeds & Gradeners program.
They demonstrate huge responsibility during shared
activities.
All our pupils look forward to this Y6 privilege!
