Dough Recipe
In the malleable area, the Nursery children make play-dough all by themselves.
We use the following recipe:
2 cups of flour
1 cup of salt
1 cup of water
3 sprinkles of food colouring (we water this down!)
Method:
Put the flour, salt, water and food colouring in a bowl and stir well.
Once your ingredients sticks together, take it out of the bowl and knead it on a surface.
Add spices like ginger, or sparkly glitter to make your dough more exciting. Be creative!
Top tip:
if your dough is too sticky add more flour.
If your dough is too dry add more water.
(Grown ups please note that we encourage the children to experiment all by themselves and use their scientific minds to find the right consistency).
