Queen Elizabeth's 90th Birthday
Queen Elizabeth's 90th Birthday Celebrations!
A fantastic week was had by Reception Class and staff as we prepared and enjoyed all the activities that we had to celebrate our Queen's 90th Birthday.
We have sent a birthday book to the Queen, made Union Jacks, learnt lots of interesting facts about our Monarch, learned how to sing God Save The Queen (beautifully), read the book 'The Queen's Knickers' which our children found hilarious, and so much more.
To end the week we held a tea party, played party games and went into assembly and sang God Save The Queen with the whole school.
Reception have loved this celebration and we hope they will remember it in the years to come.
We can't thank you enough for all the kind donations of food, drinks etc for the tea party and of course your continued support. We couldn't do it without you!
