Autumn Walk

Reception Autumn Walk
On the 10th October 2017 Reception children went on their Autumn Walk . Wellingtons were the order of the day as the weather wasn't good. As we strolled down to George's Wood,we all waved at Lily-Mays teddies and dog that were waiting for us in her window as we passed her house. We looked for the signs of autumn on our walk. We saw lots of different coloured leaves and we saw berries on bushes that we know are only for birds to eat.  We passed  some chickens and geese in their allotments and we all made chicken noises. Then as a special treat we were invited to Honey-Jo's Grandads Farm (Honey -Jo was in Reception last year) and we were shown the horses stables, pond and wishing well. To finish off our Autumn Walk, Honey Jo's Grandad had bought all our children a drink and a bag of sweets. How thoughtful! Thank you so much!

Our children had a great time as you can see!
