Our autumn walk

We had a brilliant walk to George's woods this morning and thankfully it stayed dry ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ. The children listened and followed the instructions on how to stay safe very well. We spotted lots of berries and even some mushrooms ๐Ÿค—.
The children had bags to collect Autumn things. We found red, yellow, brown and orange leaves as well as conkers and pine cones. Some of the trees were nearly bare, and some had lots of Autumn leaves still on them. Some of the big trees were very green.
We found logs to sit on and shapes too! Some of the logs were in a triangle shape and some were in a square shape. We had lots of fun climbing and sitting on the logs ๐Ÿ‘. The ground was very muddy - one welly even got stuck in the mud ๐Ÿ˜ฎ.
Then we spotted a hole in the ground and the children thought it was an underground house. They suggested that a fox, a rabbit and a badger might live there - wow!
On our way back to school we said hello to the chickens and geese and also saw a tractor with huge wheels on the farm. We even found a pile of logs behind the pub!
What fantastic muddy fun! We were back in time for lunch and Mrs Perks cleaned all our muddy wellies with the hose pipe ๐Ÿ‘.

A great autumn walk and thank you to all the staff who came to help us too โญ๏ธ.
