Duckling visit
Today 6 fluffy ducklings came to visit us at school. The children loved stroking them and talking about how they will lose their downy feathers. We watched the ducklings take their first swim and the children laughed as they all splashed about. Some of the children had a turn at holding the ducklings carefully if they wanted to and one little girl helped the visitor handle the ducklings and confidently gave them out to the other children. We also sang some songs about ducklings and listened to the story Dilly the Duckling. What a lovely experience!
