Signalong 👍
In the Early Years department at Christ Church Ainsworth we introduce the children to Signalong and use this every day in class.
Signalong is a key-word signing system which is based on British sign language (BSL).
Each week we will focus on a new sign and send a picture and a description of the sign home via Tapestry.
This week’s sign is 👋 hello. The Nursery staff will greet your child with a cheery hello in the morning and reinforce this with the signalong sign for hello.
It would be lovely if you could also practise the sign of the week with your child at home to support their learning 🥰.
