This week the children have continued to celebrate Diwali the Hindu festival of light. We talked about how Hindu ladies decorate their hands and feet using intricate mehndi patterns and looked at some lovely photographs of the different designs. The children were eager to create their own mehndi patterns on their hands and we even had a few children who enjoyed painting their feet as well, which tickled their toes 😂. We sang a lovely little Diwali rhyme all about mehndi patterns. The children are really enjoying learning about Diwali 🎆🎇🌠
