The Sound Collector
This week we have been looking at lots of different poems.Today we were each given a verse from the Sound Collector poem. We worked really hard to remember each verse and we thought of some actions to help us to remember every sentence. Next week we will be writing our own sound collector poems about the beach.
Year 1 School Trip
On Monday we went on our school trip to Underwater Street. We had lots of fun exploring all of the different activities and experiencing lots of exciting experiments. Here are some pictures from the day.
Fruit Tasting
We have been looking at the book Handa's Surprise, in the book she has a collection of fruits in her basket. Today we tasted these fruits. We used our senses to help us to describe them.
