Number Area

Welcome to our Number Area Page!

What happens in our Number Area?

Mathematics in the Early Years focuses on two main aspects,  Number and Shape And Space. Children have the opportunity to extend their learning in a fun and stimulating environment. Numicon is always present in the Number Area and used to support children in their early concepts of what number is. Songs, rhymes, puzzles and games ensure that the Nursery Number Area is the place to be!
