Remember, Remember the 5th November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot, 
I see no reason why gunpowder season, 
Should ever be forgot 🎉.

We certainly remembered gunpowder season in nursery today 😁. We watched a powerpoint all about Guy Fawkes and the children decided that he was a baddie! At one point it was said that Batman and Superman would get Guy Fawkes, which led onto a whole new topic of conversation 😂.
We also watched a clip on firework safety and discussed the dangers of fireworks and sparklers 🎉.
The nursery were fantastic at making different firework sounds.  We practised moving like rockets, Catherine wheels and bangers and looked at pictures of all the lovely firework colours on the computer! 
This afternoon the children had a lovely experience,  watching the fireworks on the junior field. After learning about the names of the fireworks, the sounds and the colours this morning, the children were able to experience all these sights and sounds  for themselves.
The children watched the show safely and happily, from a distance, whilst eating their hot potatoes, yummy🥔!
Nursery have listened brilliantly in regards to firework safety. Very well done 😁👍 Happy Bonfire Night 🔥 🎉.
