Today we re-enacted the The Great Fire of London. The children brought in homemade Tudor houses and we watched them burn. We noticed the wind helped to accelerate the flames.

We have been learning all about traditional stories this term, some the children were familiar with and others from different countries and cultures. This story is from Africa and explains how the rain came to fall.

The children acted out this shadow puppet show and took turns to read a little of the story itself. I hope you enjoy it!
