Teddy Bear's Picnic
On Thursday 2nd July, Year1 & Year 2 held their 'Teddy Bear's Picnic'. All week our children and staff have worked so hard preparing lots of delicious food and drinks for everyone to enjoy on the day.
The weather was kind to us, a few drops of rain didn't spoil the wonderful atmosphere.
We hope you all enjoyed the food and had a fantastic time.
Thank you for the lovely emails, cards & letters that we have received, they were very much appreciated and as always, thank you all for your continued support throughout the year!
Mrs Hicks, Miss Wilkinson and the Infant Team.

Visit from Bury Fire Service
This week we had a special visit from Bury fire service. The firemen talked to us about their jobs as fire fighters and about the dangers of fires. We had a look at the fire engine and all of the equipment they carry on it. The firemen made us all jump by testing the sirens. In the classroom the fire fighters talked to us about their uniform. Miss Wilkinson and Mrs Williams had to dress up as a fire fighter, they said their uniform was very heavy.
Here are some pictures from the visit:
Andy Warhol
During our famous people topic, we have been looking at Princess Diana. We created a timeline showing all of the interesting facts about her life. We then looked at how photographers captioned iconic images of her, focusing on portrait photographs. Then we all had a go at taking our own portraits using a professional camera. After that we looked at a famous artist called Andy Warhol, who created a colourful portrait of Princess Diana. From the photographs we took we then created our own artwork in the style of Andy Warhol. Here are the results:
Magnetic Games!
Year 3's decided after learning all about magnets to make their very own magnet games for Year 1 pupils to play and enjoy!
Year 1 loved the games you had made and enjoyed playing with them very much!
