Remember, Remember the 5th of November
Infant children celebrated this day in style! Mrs Hicks first explained in the weeks assemblies why we celebrate this day and also explained the firework code to the children. Then due to the bad weather forecast for the afternoon, the firework display was held in the morning.
We went outside and were treated to a Firework Display with Mrs Hicks and Mr Matheson as our firework lighters.
In the afternoon all the infant children tucked in to black peas, hot potatoes and parkin.
Our children had a fantastic time celebrating the 5th November!
