Church Visit
Reception's Church Visit
Reception visited our local church 'Christ Church Ainsworth' as part of our topic 'People who Help Us'. Mrs Harrison had explained to the chidren how the church plays an important part in our community with the church and the Reverend Dave helping people.
The children were lucky enough to be able to explore every nook and cranny in the church. They were able to see where the choir and Vicar hang their robes, sit on the chair that only the Bishop may sit on when he visits as well as sitting at the organ.
We would like to thank Bill and Gwen White for taking us on our guided tour and for answering all the questions that Reception had for them.
