In honour of Her Majesty's 90th birthday, this young man learnt the National Anthem on his Mummy's phone! What a super star, we are all very proud of him!
The children had a lovely time at our Queen's tea party today! We started this special occasion by singing the National Anthem and Happy Birthday to Queen Elizabeth. Then the children enjoyed some delicious party food and we finally played some lovely party games including Royal corners and Who stole the Queen's crown. Honey-Jo was thrilled to be one of our winners and enjoyed acting out the role of the Queen for a while. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and all had a wonderful time. A few children asked me what time Queen Elizabeth was coming and I told him we might have to wait a while! Lastly, we joined the rest of the school for a special assembly and one of our little boys, Harley, was picked to sing the national Anthem infront of the whole school. It was adorable and extremely brave of him. The whole school were very impressed with our clever nursery children. What a lovely day. Thank you for all the food that was sent in, the children enjoyed tucking into their royal feast. Happy birthday Queen Elizabeth.

Crown cookies - Thank you, Christine!

The children thoroughly enjoyed decorating the crown biscuits that Christine had made for Nursery, to tie in with our Queen's tea party. The children mixed icing and added it to their crown, before decorating it. Yummy!
