Mark making through water play💦💧
The children had great fun today during a water play activity in the outdoor area. Firstly they found lots of different sized containers and predicted which one would hold the most/least amount of water. Then we added lots of food colouring and glitter to the water and the children all observed the changes that occurred. They each filled a beaker with the glittery water and then used paintbrushes, chalk and fingers to paint lots of lovely pictures of their choice on the walls and floor. We saw lots of lovely unicorns, people, rainbows and monsters, developing early writing and gross motor skills. Well done children 🦄👹👧🏼👦🏾🌈
